Camp Marymount

Day camps are great for little kids, but once your child is older it’s a great time to send them to an overnight camp.  My time spent at summer camp is one of the fondest memories of my childhood…and if all goes as planned I’ll be sending my eight year old to the very same camp I attended from age 8-18 in New Hampshire this summer.  I’m not sure who is more excited (and nervous) about the whole idea – me or him – but I know it will be a wonderful experience for him (and somehow I’ll survive a week with his little brother missing him).

Hispanic, developmentally disabled and counseling (drug, alcohol and sexual abuse) camps are available.

Girl Scout Kamp Kiwani
An all girls camp in Middleton, TN.  You do not have to be a girl scout to attend.  Visits from two nights to two weeks.

Girl Scout Camp Tik-A-Witha
An all girls camp in Van Vleet, MS.  You do not have to be a girl scout to attend.  Visits from two nights to two weeks.
