My husband is a third generation golfer. When we were dating he once told me he liked to play in the humidity as it made the ball travel farther. I knew I was screwed, but I married the guy anyways. Now I’ve got an 8 year old who has a great swing but gets really frustrated with himself as he expects to be as good as his dad, and an almost 4 year old who “can’t wait” until he can start taking lessons.
I plan on taking lessons once kid #2 starts kindergarten. If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em….right?
Here are some area spots/people for kid and adult golf and tennis lessons. This list is rather weak on the tennis side, so please send me more info via a comment!
First TeeMy son did First Tee a cpl years ago. Nice people but not well organized. Most of the instructors were older men and my son just didn’t click with them. It was really nice though bc they were all volunteers.
