The Little Gym

Took my child to a little gym intro class- the staff was great. They were very welcoming and patient with my toddler never having been in a class. The only downside is the classes start at varying times and months, so you have to wait or pay for both sessions. But, I do think it would have been a great thing if timing would have worked out!
The Little Gym offers several different themed summer camps throughout the summer. The camps typically are 3 hours a day, a few days a week. My 3 year old daughter was taking classes there, so we decided to give a camp a try. She attended the Garden party camp, and she absolutely loved it. The kids learned all about the importance of healthy eating and gardening. My daughter even brought home her own plant she planted during camp. The kids play games, sjng songs, and do activities that all correlate to that particular campus’s theme. All of the teachers/coaches there seem to really love kids. The only negative thing I would have to say is that some of the coaches have better management of the groups of children than others. Coach Joel is wonderful, and knows exactly how to get the kids attention and keep them under control. I noticed a day where there were quite a few children and one of the coaches had trouble getting the kids to listen. Overall, I would recommend it as a fun summer camp for your younger children. You can choose a theme you think your child might enjoy. They offered a mermaid treasure hunt theme this summer, that I hope is offered again next summer so my daughter can attend.
