I have heard nothing, but great things about this program. I babysit children that go there. The environment is safe, the counselors work well with the kids, & the director is very organized. The kids love it!

I babysit children who go here and they love it! They are always talking about how much fun they had. The counsellors really seem to love the kids and they make it a fun and safe environment!

What an amazing place for children! The director and counselors interact with the kids and truly love them. They are not sitting on the sidelines talking amongst themselves while the kids entertain themselves–they are actively engaged with the kids, playing with them. It seems like everyone there loves their job and the kids. It is wonderful to pick your child up and have them come running to you saying, “Mommy, I had a great day! It was soooooo much fun!” And, that happens every day when I pick up.

We have used AOK for enrichment and special classes and my 2 children always have a wonderful time. During the summer, they also attend SOAR. The program is well planned out with awesome activities each day. The counselors are wonderful with the children and the director does a fantastic job.

We love the AOK program! It is a wonderful place for our children. We know that the counselors care for them and make the camps fun. They offer a number of enrichment camps, so there is always something that our children enjoy. They offer after school care and summer camps. We strongly recommend it!

On a recent school holiday, the same people who run this camp provided all day daycare. When I arrived (on time) to pick up my son, all lights were off and all doors were locked. They assumed all children were gone and left for the day with my 3-year-old in the restroom. He found his way outside and onto busy Grove Park during 5:00 pm traffic. I met with leadership and suggested changes, but I have not seen those changes being made. Disappointed, because the school itself has been so wonderful for us.

My son has attended the SOAR summer camp since starting school at CMDS and loves it – this will be his 4th summer to attend! The entire staff is great – from Amanda Bardos to all the talented counselors – they are so capable and attentive. My son has attended the SOAR themed camps, the enrichment camps, and VBS through CUMC. There are new camps each year as well familiar favorites to look forward to – especially ones taught by our fun CMDS Teachers. SOAR has been a great safe and fun way to see friends from class and church during the summer, while also providing a chance to make some new friends, too!

My children have participated in CMDS’s SOAR summer camps for years! We love the different themes and offerings there are to choose from that change from week to week. The SOAR director, Amanda Bardos, and the counselors are always friendly and ready to have a great time with the kids. I know when I drop them off they will have a great day and be excited to go back the next day!

My son has attended the SOAR day camp two summers in a row. He does not attend school at CMDS, but that does not matter one bit! He has loved meeting new friends and all the different activities they have planned. He absolutely LOVES the water day where all they do is play on the GIANT water slide. I think that is his favorite day! The children are well supervised by the college counselors and the school campus is large enough that they have many options of things to do, even on a rainy day. My son always came home happy and exhausted from all the activities. The college counselors are very nice to the children and exude a Christian attitude. I definitely plan for my son to attend SOAR again this year at CMDS!
