This post was sponsored by Terminix, but the content and opinions expressed are my own. I attended the “Very Important Bug” event to see Big Bugs at the Memphis Botanic Garden in September and I have visited several times since then. I can’t wait to tell you all about it. I already knew that the Big Bugs exhibit was coming up and I was looking forward to it! I was anticipating some of the planned related events which were publicized before the Big Bugs had even been installed at Memphis
Want to learn all you can on the Memphis Solar Eclipse 2017 before it happens? According to this site, the solar eclipse on August 21 comes to the United States every 38 years. The best time to view the Memphis Solar Eclipse 2017 will be 12p-2:50p. Pink Palace says you really can't see it with your bare eyes, so even if you're going to view it at home, get beforehand! Some of these August Special Events require registration, tickets, or at least pre-planning. What August Special Events will you try to squeeze in the last bit of summer? I know there are many times we avoid going there in the heat of the summer but the kids had a blast. Here are more pools in Memphis, and here are past posts about the zoo. I'm not kidding you when I tell you - we looked at two animals (types) while we were there. 2. Sea lions and giraffes. That's it. I usually try to arrive with my kids right at 9am, but we were
I was thinking the other day of places where one could buy a brick in Memphis right now. Many times nonprofit organization use this as a fundraising method. I love that one's name could be commemorated for years to come if they participate in a fundraising effort. I also think it's a great gift idea for the person who has everything. Both kids (who get too many toys) and adults (who have too much stuff) would appreciate this. They could see their name when they visit their favorite place!
