Ahhh….date night. A chance to carry a small purse, wear impractical shoes and remember all the reasons you like your husband. If you need suggestions on finding a sitter so you can enjoy a night out check this post. And if you’re looking for ideas besides restaurants check out this list of girls night out/date night ideas.
I hope you all recognize how fortunate we are to have so many great restaurants nearby. This list makes me want a date night!!
This weekend is will be Alchemy.
I love Bonefish in Collierville or BlueFin downtown.
Cafe 1912 on cooper
We like to go early and sit at the bar at Cafe 1912. The bartender, Sean, always takes good care of us. We love their mussels.
SPR and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar
Houstons. Consistent. Outstanding.
Also, Alchemy, and Tsunami has always been our favorite. We’ve celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries there.
We like Interim on Sanderlin…consistently good food and service and a very adult atmosphere;)
We had a great meal at Fuel a few weekends ago.
Flight! Great when you have something else to do downtown!
Flight!! Pricey, but amazing food.

Most romantic: Grisatni’s and Ciao Bella– Italian. Blue Fin- Sushi. Erling Jensen for different menu fare. Paulette’s is amazing..piano and fabulous crabcakes, Chez Philippe is also very romantic. Melting Pot is nice if you don’t mind a chain.
The Melting Pot – Love Fondue!
Buckley’s has the most amazing steaks, and dark lit rooms 🙂
Brooklyn Bridge, corner of Poplar & Kirby
Erling Jensen for a nice meal or The Bar at Erling Jensen for a quicker/less expensive meal.

Iris, Andrew Michael, and Tsunami are our faves!
Paulette’s in Harbor Town or Itta Bena on Beale!
Cafe Fontana is nothing short of lovely! Wonderful food, pleasant servers, great wine list, and cozy ambience. It’s in Old Cordova in a house. Just love it!!
