Okay, okay, so it’s not in East Memphis…but it’s nearby!  One of the harder things about moving is finding a new pizza place, at least it was hard for my family.  It’s such an easy, comfort food.  Add a great beer and it’s even better.  We were so sad to leave our favorite brick oven pizza place in Charlotte, so you can image how happy we were to discover Boscos.  And would you believe we lived in Little Rock for 21 months and only tried Boscos there near the end of our stay?  Duh.

I don’t care if it’s hot, I’m hungry!

If you like brick oven pizza – super thin crust with flavorful toppings – this is the place.  If you like beer you’re in luck too since they brew their own.  The only challenge with a pizza like this is that it can be a little floppy, but they have kid-sized pizzas that totally fix that problem.  My kids gobble up their pepperoni pizza (they like the nuggets and fries too), and are only slightly sad there is no lemonade (they have turned into quite the restaurant lemonade connoisseurs).

My favorite – the Germantown Purist

I bet their other food is good, but the pizza is so good I’ve never eaten anything else.  They have a good-sized bar and more than one dining area, plus a large patio with a gate to trap your roaming toddlers.  They also have crayons and a two-sided kid menu for artistic entertainment.  A great spot for a family dinner.
