I was fortunate to meet up with another East Memphis Mom on my last “free” lunch of the school year.  My boys were both in school, she had one in school and one with grandma – Yipee!  She suggested Sekisui and I jumped at the chance since my husband doesn’t eat sushi (poor me!).

At my friend’s suggestion I tried their one-roll Sushi Combo lunch special (you can also get two or three rolls).  For $7.95 I got a Spicy Crunchy Shrimp roll, Miso soup and house salad (with a ginger vinaigrette).  Actually…it’s soup, salad, sushi, as they bring the food out in courses.  It felt like a very special lunch (well, it was….I don’t go out without my kids often!) to get three courses.  And for that price, well, let’s just say a fancy sandwich and chips would cost me more than what I paid at Sekisui.

If your kids eat sushi this would be a great place to take them.  Mine don’t, so if anyone wants to meet me for and early (pre-nap) lunch at Sekisui I’m game….Kid Station isn’t far away!
