My family had lunch at The Flying Fish this afternoon. What a fun and tasty place!  And there are lots of great menu options that are not fried – like the grilled tilapia fish tacos- yum!

On a nice day the huge garage-door windows are open, making you feel like you’re outside.  Sit at the bar looking out the window or at a table or booth.  Eclectic decorations and saltines at the table will help occupy your kids while you wait for food.  Thankfully the Big Billy Bass fish on the wall do not have batteries, else they would need to offer ear plugs. Instead the music will get your toes tapping. The kids loved it.

Bring in a Big Billy Bass for the restaurant to “adopt” and get a basket of catfish and your name on the wall.

The “adoption” rules in case you have a Big
Billy Bass to unload!

Bring a photo of you or your kids catching a fish and get it added to the Liars Wall (you are welcome to lie about the size of your catch):

You’ve got to love a restaurant that even has interesting decorations in the bathrooms:

Watch the Flying Fish Twitter and Facebook pages for promotions tied to University of Memphis games.  We definitely recommend The Flying Fish for both it’s food and atmosphere.  We’ll be back!
