New housing development planned for Germantown
On Tuesday, April 4, the Germantown Planning Commission unanimously approved rezoning five acres of land adjacent to Baptist Memorial Rehabilitation Hospital from “general commercial” to “retirement housing.” Located on the north side of Wolf River Boulevard and east of Germantown Road, the site was formerly home to a Walmart that closed in 2003.
