Today is the first day of school for students at The Campus School, a SCS school run in conjunction with The University of Memphis for grades 1-5.  They go back early and have two-week breaks in the fall, winter and spring, keeping them on a nine-week schedule between breaks.  Lots of East Memphis parents LOVE this school. For more info about how to get into this school check the SCS Optional School Admissions post (Campus isn’t exactly an Optional school, but I group it with those programs because it makes sense to do it that way, at least it does to me).  And if you’d like to review this school for the benefit of other parents please click through to their EMM School Directory listing here.

It’s also the first day of school for students at St. John Catholic School on Lamar Ave.

Here are some students on their first day.  Got more photos to share?  email them to [email protected]
