Consignment Shops: Clothing, Furniture & More

There are some great consignment shops in East Memphis, and a few that are worth the drive.  Kids can outgrow clothes quickly in the first year or so…and who wants to buy a brand new piece of furniture and then watch it get banged up by the kids?  Been there, done that, trying to avoid it when I can.

I’m also a huge fan of upscale women’s consignment stores as they allow me to indulge my desire to have nice clothes without making me feel horrible for spending so much money…especially if it’s for a special occasion.  Looking for thrift stores?  Go here.

    I am looking for French Furniture (preferably antique or vintage; Home Décor/Interiors…preferably French; old ornate chandeliers and tons of glass prisms and glass ropes, medium size oriental or Persian rugs, boxes of antique jewelry, ornate mirrors, ornate candelabras, antique ornate lamps, sterling silver trays, old dresser vanity mirrors and hair brush sets.     I never consigned before ..I took several home decor items to Spice It Up and i really like how they sold my items….nice staff.i will be going back…there prices are awesome too.

    Love Pakt Closet. The people there are so much nicer than at summer kids and once upon a child. And Pakt closet pays more too. I only shop there now. Go check it out!

    I’ve taken my daughters clothes to Summer Kids, Once Upon A Child, and Pakt Closet, and by far the best pay and customer service I received was at Pakt Closet. The employees are always willing to help me find whatever I need, there is always so much new stuff every time I stop by, and they have new items too. It’s much less crowded than Once Upon A Child, it’s always very clean, and they have a play area so us moms can enjoy shopping while the kids play!!

    I am trying to find a consignment store that takes sizes 3x and 4x clothing. My husband has lost a significant amount of weight and has tons of clothes just sitting up. Can anyone tell me of a place that I could consign with that accepts larger size men clothing? Please help! Running out of room!

    I have shop at a lot of consignment shops, Celery, Sugar plum, and Spice It Up, they all are nice. I like Spice It Up because they sell Home Decor, Antiques, furniture, kitchenware, houseware, and men accessories, as well as everything for a women.. I spent 200.00 during christmans on NWT costume jewelry….I love consignment shop. They also pickup my items from home. Good luck

      My name is Linda Henderson and I opened my consignment store in east Memphis in April 2012 at 734 Mt. Moriah..We do pickup. We give our consignors 60% of each sell, and we buy stright out as well. My shop is Spice It Up resale Consignment…Please call me if you would like an apppointment.

        My wife passed April 1. I have a large number of her clothing, two fur coats, mostly all 18w and some L (Large). Beautiful scarves and many other items. Some still have sales tags. Also living room and dining room furniture, like new. Also art items (self painted,) lot of crystal, German collection of Goebel figurines an a Russian theme collection of porcelan.

    There is a new East memphis Consignment shop on Mount Moriah…Spice It Up..They have everything…I went there window shopping and spent 300.00…I did my shristmas shopping…
