Go and Play at Chick-fil-A

April 28, 2011 by Suzanne 1 Comment

I don’t like fast food and I don’t drink soda, but I do occasionally take my kids to Chick-fil-A.  I don’t think this will surprise many moms as it’s a great place!  There are food options I actually like if I’m there during a meal, or I just enjoy a cup of tea while my kids get the wiggles out in the sound-proof play area.

Today I had the good fortune to have company, so in between making sure our kids didn’t run off I enjoyed an actual conversation with another mom.  What I did learn that I wanted to share is that the Chick-fil-A outside I-240 (6282 Poplar Ave) has a nicer play area than the one at Poplar and Mendenhall (4916 Poplar Ave).  Besides being cleaner (maybe just newer?) the climbing structure has steps that are placed closer together, so the under 2 crowd can play without needing so much help – and we all know that is huge.  Melissa, my mom company, also told me the Chick-fil-A on Union (1980 Union Ave) is nicer than the one by Mendenhall as well.

So take a seat by the play area and relax a little.  Have something to eat, take home a balloon for your child, and even get waited on.  Need a drink refill or a place mat for your child?  Just wait and someone will stop by and help.  You won’t be ignored here.

If you go for lunch get there early – this place is popular!

We had an awesome birthday party for our 5-year-old at Chickfila midtown! We did breakfast and ordered party trays of chicken minis and fruit! For less than $100 it was a great party!
