Parkour is “the activity or sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing.”

• My kids looooove parkour.
• I just took my boys and they loved it! The owner is great and keeps the kids engaged during the classes. He teaches them the skills, methods, and safety of parkour. It is a startup so he’s adding new things as it grows. It is near the airport but easy to find. We will be going back.

• Wings Gymnastics has a class at Christ Methodist for 2-3 yr olds. If that doesn’t work there are a couple of others classes that would work with Wings. They usually have 2 or 3 teachers and divide the children by age and ability

• For boys especially, Wimbledon has a very good program. Not too many gyms in the area have extensive training for boys.
  
• Great coaching, great program! We had to move on bc we needed to attend gymnastics at a more convenient location for us but we miss it! My kids still talk about their days at Wimbledon. but Ms. Murphy gave my daughter such a great foundation in Memphis Gymnastics Lessons!

• The Little Gym (Kirby & Poplar Area). They have dance, gymnastics, and sports activities. My kid loves it!!!
• LITTLE GYM! It is awesome. They have trial classes so you can try one out and see if you like it. My DD has been taking there since she was 3 and is so strong. Non – competitive and fun! They have gymnastics, dance (ballet and tap), and cheerleading.
• The Little Gym offers gymnastics for 2-year-olds and it is great! My daughter learned so much!

Lausanne School

• For a really good, not so intense experience for older girls (5+), Lausanne School has a program and you do not have to be a student there to participate.

Young champions of Bartlett is a great program. It actually has registration at good Shepherd United Methodist @ 6050 summer ave. Each class is only 7$ and registration fee of 7$ very affordable. The uniforms and poms are optional but also affordable.
