Holiday Wonders at the Garden (My Big Backyard) 2019 Updated PLUS GIVEAWAY

Are you looking for a fun way to celebrate the holidays with your kids? The Memphis Botanic Garden’s Holiday Wonders at the Garden is a great option.

I’m giving away a Family Four Pack of tickets to Family Night tomorrow, Thursday, December 12! All tickets are $8.25 whether you’re a member or not BUT on Thursday, December 12 is Family Night, and Kids Admission (Ages 12 years and under) are $1.25!! If your kids like My Big Backyard they’ll love Holiday Wonders. In addition to lots of beautiful lights you’ll see a giant Light Bright using colored bottles to make a pattern, you can play in the giant snow globe, there are campfires, s’mores, and hot chocolate for an extra cost.

2019 – We went on a WARM Sunday night. It was not that crowded, probably because it was a school night. You enter through the Live at the Garden entrance, and walk a little bit through some lights but then most of it is in My Big Backyard. What is great is that the kids can still play on all the playhouses that are usually open at My Big Backyard. The other thing I will say is to keep an eye on your kiddos because it’s dark! The holiday lights don’t really light up the whole place. It’s not dangerous or anything, just maybe have them wear flashing xmas light necklace or something.

The night we went they had BOTH photos with Santa and photos with a brunette ice princess.

Holiday Wonders — If you’ve not been in awhile, they took down one of the houses and made this awesome castle out of recycled materials.

Parking is free, but don’t do like we did and drive into the MBG main entrance. You need to drive into the entrance like you’re going to a Live at the Garden concert.
