Birthday Party Places: 1-3 Year Olds

It’s fun to have a party to celebrate birthdays.  With little ones it can get tricky to plan something that is fun and not scary or just too overwhelming.  Here are some suggestions from the moms if you’re looking to throw a party someplace else and just show up with the cake:

We did Build a Bear followed by lunch in the food court at Wolf Chase. It worked well partially because we did it first thing (10am) before the mall was too crowded

    While we were in the middle of buying a home and didn’t really have anywhere to have my daughter’s 2nd birthday, we got a hotel room at the Hampton Inn near the Wolfchase Mall and had friends and family over in the breakfast room that evening for pizza & cupcakes! We ordered from Pizza Hut & I made the cupcakes that morning – it was perfect. Afterwards, we got to go swimming in the hotel pool with our friends and family. It worked out perfectly!

    We just had our 2 year old’s party at Kid’s Play in Germantown. https://www.facebook.com/kidsplaymemphis It was perfect! We opted to have the face painter, Ms Ashley and Mr. Mike the Balloon Man as well as ordering Pizza through Kid’s Play. I brought my own guest gifts and made fruit skewers and brought a cake from Mad Lily. Sarah and her staff handled everything else, I did nothing! It was pricey but the best party we have had! (I have 3 kids).
